What premium are you paying over spot right now?

Curious what everyone is seeing in terms of premiums at the moment. I have been looking at 1oz gold bars and the cheapest I can find from dealers is about 4.5% over spot. Some of the sellers on here seem to be closer to 2-3% which is much better. What sort of premiums are you lot seeing for sovereign purchases? And is it worth paying a bit more for a well-known brand like PAMP or Metalor versus a lesser-known refiner? Would love to hear your thoughts.

For sovereigns I tend to see about 5-8% over spot from dealers depending on the year. Older ones obviously carry a numismatic premium on top. The peer-to-peer prices on here are usually more competitive though — just make sure the seller is KYC verified and has decent feedback.
I always go for well-known brands personally. PAMP and Metalor have much better resale value when you come to sell. The premium difference is usually only about 1-2% more so it is worth it in my opinion. Less hassle when selling too as buyers trust the name.
Just picked up some 1oz silver Britannias at about 22% over spot which I thought was decent. Few months ago the same coins were 35% over. Premiums are definitely coming down a bit which is encouraging for stackers.
Yeah seeing 1oz Brits going at £90+ so 22% is not bad
