Gold/Silver Ratio Creeping Back Up — Anyone Else Watching This?
Had a look at the ratio this morning and it's sitting around 64:1 again. Historically when it pushes past 80:1 it's been a strong signal that silver is undervalued relative to gold. Some analysts are saying we could see it head back towards 100:1 if gold keeps climbing and silver stays flat. For me personally, when the ratio gets above 80 I start shifting more of my monthly budget towards silver. Worked out well in 2020 when the ratio hit 120:1 and then snapped back. Curious what everyone else thinks — are you watching the ratio when deciding what to buy, or do you just stick to one metal regardless?
