Best Value Silver Right Now? Britannias vs Bars vs Rounds

Silver spot is looking interesting at the moment and I'm thinking of adding to my position. Usually go for Britannias because of the CGT exemption but the premiums are mental right now. Some dealers charging 30-40% over spot for 1oz Britannias. Meanwhile you can get 100g bars for much closer to spot. I know the bars don't have the tax advantage but if you're holding long term and not planning to sell, does it matter? What are people picking up at the moment and where are you finding the best premiums?

Britannias every time for me. Yes the premiums are higher but the CGT exemption is massive if gold and silver keep going up. When you come to sell a big stack of bars you'll wish you'd paid the extra for Britannias. Long term thinking pays off.
Honestly I've been going for the PAMP 100g bars lately. The premiums are about 8-10% over spot compared to 30%+ on Britannias. If you're buying for weight and holding long term, bars make more sense mathematically. You can always swap some into Britannias later when premiums come down.
Crikey, those silver premiums are nuts right now. Honestly, I'm a gold man through and through. Nothing beats a sovereign for CGT exemption and liquidity, or a gold Britannia. Silver's just too volatile for my liking, especially with those dealer mark-ups. Stick to the yellow stuff!
