That Premium Still Haunts Me!

My worst buy? Easily that 'limited edition' 2oz silver coin from 2018. Paid double spot at the time – silver was probably around £15/oz, so I shelled out £60 for 2 ounces! Thought it was a future rarity. Big mistake. Just fancy silver, no real numismatic value, and impossible to sell for anything close to what I paid without a massive loss. Learned my lesson: stick to low-premium, recognised bullion. Think Britannias, Maples, standard bars. Anything with a huge premium for 'collectibility' is a gamble, not an investment in metal. Buy gold/silver for the metal, not the hype. What was your biggest stacker regret?
